Drawn from a Life Lived With Plants
My work comes from years of listening.
I have spent days (yes, entire days) drawing plants. Months growing them. Years teaching about them, learning their shapes, their structure, their messages and medicine.
Plants changed my life.
They taught me self-acceptance. They rooted me back into my body, healed long-term health troubles. They gave me a way to stay connected with the earth, working with the seasons. Most importantly, they give me hope when the modern world strips it away.
Every tattoo I offer is the distillation of this relationship.
The Beginning: Consultation + Herbal Oracle Reading
Let’s start slowly…with tea, conversation and curiosity.
I guide you through a card reading using the Sensory Herbal Oracle. This is a beautiful deck where each card represents a medicinal plant.
We get to see which plants want to show up with their messages.
Often, the plants that emerge might mirror:
- A part of you asking to be seen
- A chapter you’re integrating
- A quality you’re learning to embody
These plants can become placeholders for memory, markers of why you chose this moment.
We talk about:
- Your story
- What you want this tattoo to hold
- Where it wants to live on your body
- How big or subtle it wants to be
Let's talk about your tattoo...
Just send me a quick message and we can get the ball rolling
The Tattoo: Quiet, Intentional, Hand-Poked
I work exclusively with hand-poke tattooing because it matches the pace of this work and the plants we are drawing from. Stillness and quiet is required to hear the medicine and messages from plants when I draw them in the field and it feels appropriate to bring that stillness and quiet to my tattoo work too.
No machine means no buzz and no sensory overwhelm, just presence.
I’m not going to lie, it still hurts! But we can hold pain here with care, supported by herbal medicine, breath, and a calm environment so you can stay connected to the experience. I’ve even had clients fall asleep while I’m tattooing them.
I am a travelling tattoo artist, and I come to you. We work in your home, your space, so your body can relax, soften, and receive.
Why Botanical Tattoos?
Plants are not symbols, they are living beings.
Each plant has it’s own personality: how it grows, where it thrives, what it needs, what it offers, how it responds to stress, injury, or neglect.
Some are resilient and stubborn. Some are soft and generous. Some protect their medicine fiercely. Some only bloom when conditions are right.
Their stories are complex but also uncannily familiar.
When you study plants long enough, you start to see how their lives mirror our own:
the ways we adapt and heal, the ways we carry both strength and vulnerability at the same time.
Plants offer physical and emotional medicine and also beautiful metaphor. They teach us about boundaries, rest, patience, regeneration, and belonging. They show us how to live inside cycles instead of fighting them.
My intention is that these tattoos carry this layered and complex medicine.
That they can remind you that your story is not separate from the natural world. Your growth, your wounds, your resilience, and your healing are part of the same living intelligence that moves through roots, stems, leaves… and skin.
This is for you if you want a tattoo that:
Is rooted in real relationship, not symbolism pulled from a book
Honors your story through the language of plants
Feels ceremonial, intimate and uniquely you
Is created slowly, intentionally, and with care
If a plant has ever saved you, softened you, or shown up for you;
if you want your body marked with a plant that has been part of your life and your healing...
This work is for you.

We’ll let the plants take it from there.
